Fantasia, The American Idol winner lost 50 pounds successfully. Now Fantasia weight loss tips revealed! She is not feelling much lighter and hotter. Fantasia said she is sticking to her die and workout plan and “loving every minute of it”.
“I can look in the mirror and say to myself, ‘Good God almighty, you’re a bad mama-jamma!'”
Fantasia’s weight gain dated back in 2011 when she played the leading role in the Mahalia Jackson biopic and later that year she found herself pregnant.
To get back of her pre-pregnant look, Fantasia started her journey of weight loss.
“Working out started as something mental. It was a way to release and let some things go,” Fantasia told Essense magazine.

No-nonsense workout plan
Fantasia’s personal trainer is Sonya McRoberts. Sonya designed a no-nonsense workout plan for her to do exercises mainly at home. Fantasia’s favorite exercises are: yoga, pilates and spinning because they brought obvious results and not boring.
“I workout every day, sometimes twice a day, I keep my trainer with me and she travels with me.”
She also joined in bootcamp class while made Fntasia feel good.

The fried chicken, the collard greens with the fatback, it’s good when we eat them, but all of that stuff that we put into our bodies eventually breaks our bodies down.
Weight loss motivation
Fantasia’s weight loss motivation is to set an example for her family member as many cousins of Fantasia of her age are with high blood pressure or some disease.
I wanted to be the person in my family to stand up and say, okay we have to eat better and workout.
Another Fantasia’s weight loss motivation is live a long healthy live for her fans.
I want to be around for a long time. I can’t travel like I do and not be healthy. You know how I move on stage. At any minute I could just pass out and that’s not good.
