Rev. Al Sharpton’s weight loss motivation

Rev. Al Sharpton’s weight loss motivation was brought by Bill Clinton who encouraged him to stop eating meat and go for vegetarian diet.

“I remember seeing Bill Clinton when I first lost weight and he told me, ‘Al, you will feel better and you won’t need as much sleep,’ ” recounts Sharpton, who now exercises every day. “He was right. Vegetarian diet

Motivated by Bill Clinton, Rev. Al Sharpton then followed vegetarian diet by eating a lot of fruits and salad. He said the vegetarian diet has the following benefits.

  • Give you greater endurance
  • Helped him in work

“How do you pastor when they are in the church cafeteria frying? We can’t preach community control when we aren’t practicing self-control.”“You can’t address our issues and demand social justices when you are a prisoner in your own body,” he said.

Cut on meat, chicken, starches and refined sugars

Rev. Al Sharpton said he not only cut on meat and chicken, but also starches and refined sugars, this healthy lifestyle let him feel energetic and a new self.

Workout routine

Rev. Al Sharpton now did as many exercises as possible. I need to say his willing to follow strict workout routine  is good, but it’s more recommended to do 5 days of workout and take 2 days off.

“You live seven days a week, that means you should exercise seven days a week,” he said.
