Every time we go to our doctor we hear the same thing: “you drink way too much soda pop in a day” but truth is the amount of sugar that Americans consume in a day from soda pop is astronomical! Just count how many you’ve had today? Me? Hmm…You don’t want to know

Lots of people will say they drink the so called “diet” version of the soda pop but it turns out to be worst! Can you believe it! My doc said this is because we don’t realize that it is loaded with “aspartame” which is a chemical which is probably worse for you than even just sugar.

Remember I’m not saying eliminate soda pop from your life completely we would just be kidding ourselves. Drink it in very low moderation for instance once per month. Anytime you have a craving for a can of soda, try to replace it with an 8oz glass of water or even SODA WATER! What a great way to stop your craving!

But now, what is soda water? For those who are wondering; soda water is one of the many terms for carbonated water. Other synonyms include club soda, sparkling water, seltzer, or fizzy water. Carbonated water is adding carbon dioxide to plain water.

· Clear American Raspberry Blackberry (it comes in flavors!)

· Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water

And they have a great taste!

An awesome tip and the best thing to do is never ever! Buy soda pop from the grocery store to bring home. This makes it too easy to grab a can when you are thirsty. Go out that once a month and have that glass of coke or whatever you choose.

Bottom line is less sugar from soda = a longer healthier life
