American football quarterback, Benjamin Todd “Ben” Roethlisberger and beautiful wife Ashley Harlan got married on July 23, 2011 at Christ Church at Grove Farm which is a town north of Pittsburg. They met back in 2005 during training camp and became friends ever since!
The couple dated on and off for almost six years before tying the knot ; apparently when he first announce the news it got a lot of media attention and he worried on how this would affect his now 27 year old fiancée. It got to the point that random people were going to Ashley’s parents house! Wow looks like fans got a little crazy there.
Ashley Harlan was born in New Castle Pennsylvania. She graduated from Laurel High School in 2004 where she was an outstanding athlete. She excelled in basketball, softball and volleyball.
Ashley went on to college at St. Francis University where she played on the college softball team; she was also a member of the honor society at her school and an All-American scholar-athlete. We can surely say why Ben put her eyes on her she is one of those beauties with brains! She later graduated with a degree in health science in 2008; but not stopping there she received a master’s degree in medicine and now works as an assistant at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburg in cardiac surgery.
The NFL couple announced on June 9th, 2012 wife Ashley was expecting their first child and guess what! They just welcome their first born! I guess they have a lot to be thankful for huh!
Benjamin Roethlisberger Jr. said to the world on Wednesday; he weighted 7 pounds and was over 19 inches. According to the quarterback mom and baby are doing fine:
