The Ravens have made the playoffs every year since Ingrid Harbaugh’s husband, John, has coached them and have won at least one playoff game in each of those years.
There’s something about this team.
I love this team. I don’t want to get all religious on you, and I know people don’t want to hear that …
Faith. Trust. That’s how I feel about this team.
Harbaugh has built a well-built connection in the locker room. at the moment we’ll see if it can stay alive another test in Foxboro, where the Harbaugh-led Ravens have lost three out of four games — by 6, 3 and 3 points.
John is very Catholic but he married a Lutheran.
Harbaugh’s wife Ingrid, chose the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland as the family parish for herself, her husband and their 6-year-old daughter, Alison.
Johh said smiling.
We’re trying to get her (Ingrid) to convert to Catholicism.
Ingrid and John at all times blow each other a kiss and give a thumbs up before each home game. For road games, John calls her from the locker room before going out to the sports ground.
During the season, John’s single proper night off comes on Friday. It’s the only time his daughter, Alison, sees her father for an unlimited period of time during the grinding season.
It’s more than just being the wife of an NFL head coach. It’s being a mum to an NFL daughter too.
She and John were featured in an NFL women’s clothing commercial and she and her sister-in-law, Sarah Harbaugh, were also part of an attire photo session.
Ingrid also encourages more women to get involved with the NFL.
If you want to spend four hours with your husband on Sunday, you may want to watch a game with them and start to understand it.
The couple has only one child, daughter Alison, born in 2001. The Harbaugh family live in Reisterstown, MD with their adopted lab named Calabash, or Cal as a nickname.
