New York Giants star David Diehl pleaded guilty this morning to drunk driving after smashing into 2 parked cars with his BMW last summer. Diehl’s blood alcohol content was “well above the New York State legal limit” at .182, prosecutors said. Diehl was placed on a six-month conditional discharge program.
David married Nicole Tabeling on Feb. 18, 2006. They have a daughter together and live in New Jersey.
The couple is always spotted together. They attended NY Giant Justin Tuck’s Celebrity Billiards Tournament at Slate on June 3, 2010 in New York City.
NFL offensive lineman plead guilty to aggravated DUI and impaired driving. Over the next six months, Diehl is not allowed to drive or apply for a driver’s license in his hometown New Jersey.
“Did you drive a car while you were intoxicated?”asked Queens Criminal Court Judge Suzanne Melendez.
“Yes ma’am,” replied a hulking, well-dressed Diehl who sported a light gray suit and lavender collared shirt.
Diehl was ordered to wear a SCRAM bracelet for 90 days and complete a six-month discharge program. After he completes the program and pays $1,200 in restitution fees to the owners of the cars and $300 in fines, he will be formally sentenced to a 90 day conditional discharge.
He could have faced up to a year in jail for hitting parked cars while drunk last June in Astoria, Queens.
What would his wife say about this?
