5 Benefits of Grapefruit

Grapefruit is a large subtropical citrus fruit generally recognized for its slightly bitter and sour taste. It was first produced in Barbados as a hybrid fruit that resulted from a cross between pomelo and sweet orange. Grapefruit was named after the grape, because grapefruits grow in clusters like grapes.

  1. Have always had a penchant for grapefruits! I ate so much of it when I was pregnant with my twins, that they ate it without sugar since they were toddlers and still do. Now using grapefruit essential oil to keep my legs toned–it is excellent as an internal fat cleanser also! Grapefruit rocks!
