ARE YOU SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION???! Many people across the world suffer from depression every day. It is a very vicious cycle until the person affected decides to actually do something about it.

Depression is defined as a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can have a negative effect on a person’s thoughts, behavior, feelings, world view and physical well-being.

Depressed people may feel sad, anxious, empty, hopeless, worried, helpless, worthless, guilty, irritable, hurt or restless. They may lose interest in activities that once were pleasurable, experience loss of appetite or overeating, have problems concentrating, remembering details, or making decisions and may contemplate or attempt suicide, insomnia, excessive sleeping, fatigue, loss of energy, or aches, pains or digestive problems that are resistant to treatment may also be present.

We hear about suicides and people around us being depressed more than we would want to and truth be told, unfortunately, depression may attack any of us at any moment…The key is, not to dwell on it; if you are feeling like depression is getting to you act on it! It is a condition where the person needs to consciously make the decision to actively quit and be persistent during the process. Surround yourself with people you love, talk about it and most importantly always trust that whatever you are facing it will get better in time so be patient and try to have a positive outlook of things!

This takes us to the next point; the causes, depression can and it most cases where is not diagnosed as clinical depression is triggered by Life events and changes that may precipitate depressed mood include menopause, financial difficulties, job problems, relationship troubles, separation and bereavement.

Remember is always better to see the glass half full rather that half empty.

15. Set yourself a certain period of time
