Jackie Hoffman debuted a new face on FX’s “Feud” as “Mamasita,” who takes care of Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange).
Hoffman also appears (as herself) in “Take My Nose . . . Please!,” a documentary by Joan Kron, a former editor at Allure magazine, which explores the relationships between women, comedy and plastic surgery.
Unhappy in the doc with a nose she describes as “just too much,” Hoffman admits to wanting a rhinoplasty. But she worries that if she also gets a face-lift, she will end up with “that done look.”
She decides to go ahead with both procedures: “I was thinking, ‘Well, it couldn’t get much worse.’ ”
Dr. Sherrell Aston — the surgeon rumored to have worked on Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Anna Wintour, Tipper Gore and Catherine Deneuve — wielded the scalpel.
Hoffman, who will be back on Broadway when “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” begins previews on March 28, is happy with the results.
