Lauren Pesce’s pre-wedding prep included a visit to the plastic surgeon’s office.
Pesce, who will wed “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino on Thursday, Nov. 1, consulted celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. John Paul Tutela about getting a rhinoplasty before walking down the aisle.
“I’ve wanted to do this since I was about 15,” Pesce told Page Six recently. “Once we got engaged in February, I knew it was the best timing for me to get this done before our big day.”
Sorrentino, 36, and Pesce, 33, announced their engagement in April. He popped the question during an episode of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation: Part 1,” which aired this past spring.

Pesce underwent a septoplasty procedure, which, according to the Mayo Clinic, corrects a deviated septum, “a displacement of the bone and cartilage that divides your two nostrils.”
According to Tutela, the average rhinoplasty can cost between $10,000 to $25,000, but it depends on the individual patient.
“The most common things include straightening a nose that is crooked, getting rid of a bump on top of the nose, refining the tip, or a combination of the above,” Tutela explained, noting the surgery itself can take anywhere from two to three hours.
Tutela also said Botox is another popular procedure among brides-to-be.
“Most women are coming in for injectables [Botox and fillers] for the big day,” he revealed. “But some women who really want something special plan far in advance and might get a surgery they have always wanted, such as a breast augmentation.”
As for Pesce, she and Sorrentino, who will serve an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion beginning in January 2019, have considered another type of tune-up.
“Botox is always a good idea with Dr. Tutela. Mike and I haven’t been in yet, but are hoping to squeeze that in before the big day,” she said.
