Angelina Pivarnick appeared to be a confident 23-year-old on “Jersey Shore” in 2009, but when the cameras stopped rolling, her insecurities took hold.
“I noticed as I got older, my weight fluctuated a lot from the show, and I realized looking in the mirror every day, I was very insecure with my body. I was very insecure with the dresses I would have to wear to red carpet events,” the Staten Island native recently told Page Six.
“I wasn’t happy with my body and I knew I had to do something to make myself feel better. I was looking at myself in the mirror with agony, and I know a lot of women out there feel the same way.”
With her 32nd birthday quickly approaching, Pivarnick, who said she used to be 34 DD cup size, took matters into her own hands, consulting Dr. John Paul Tutela, the go-to plastic surgeon for “Jersey Shore” stars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, about a breast augmentation.
Leading up to the procedure, which costs around $15,000, Pivarnick said she was “freaking out” about going under the knife.
“I was like, ‘Am I going to die?’” she said. “I was scared, a lot of people are. Some women are not scared, but everybody has different feelings and I was definitely one of the scared ones.”
Three weeks later, the reality star already seems thrilled with the results.
“They’re way perkier, which is exactly the look I wanted because my boobs were sagging,” she explained.

While her recovery process continues, Tutela advised against a shopping spree to Victoria’s Secret as her cup size is still fluctuating between a D and DD.
“I probably encourage waiting two to three months before restocking all of your bras,” Tutela said. “With swelling, things may change a bit, bras are not cheap, so you don’t want to restock every bra in the first few months.”
As for Pivarnick, who returns to “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” on Thursday, the procedure lifted much more than her bust.
“They look so natural and they already feel so natural,” she said. “I feel amazing.”
